Ella Lehavi is a freshman at Scripps College. She is particularly passionate about combinations of bread and cheese, stuffed animal and real life monkeys and other non-human primates, mediocore freestyle rapping, canyon driving and getting exposure to sunlight and nature, and finding comfortable spots to nap or simply sit calmly and daydream. If asked to describe herself, Ella would most likely say that she is the dumbest smart person you'll ever meet. Of course, "smartness" is very much a concept and not a static thing. What Ella means by this is that although she is a total nerd and can talk fast and think faster which gives off the illusion of knowledgeability, she has absolutely NO common sense whatsoever. 
Ella hails from Woodland Hills, California, about 55 miles West of Claremont and around an hour's drive with little to no traffic (though in Los Angeles this is a rare event). However, past about 9 pm when there are fewer cars on the freeway, the drive can be cut to about 45 minutes if you drive at 90 miles per hour the whole way through. Ella would not know that from experience because she is a law abiding citizen and also because her mom might be reading this and she loves her mom more than she fears the law. She loves her dad too, but he is in no position to criticize her for speeding (if she were, hypothetically, to speed). Although Ella spent this semester in Claremont with roommates, she grew up with her parents, two brothers, and her favorite (fuzzy) sibling, a little pig-rat-sock-rag-dog named Lilly with the personality and sas of a human.
Ella intends to major in Art and Media Studies and minor in Computer Science. She likes cartooning and character design and hopes to become a storyboard artist and possibly graphic novelist should the economy allow it. And if you read this far, Ella would like you to know she applauds you.
